4. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We use third-party providers for hosting, authentication, database storage, email marketing, analytics, session recording, and tag management. Each acts as a data processor on our behalf under appropriate data processing terms.
- Third-party partners. We may share your email address with selected partners for marketing purposes related to football, sports competitions, and related products. These partners are required to handle your information in accordance with applicable privacy law and may not use it for unrelated purposes. 5. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service and understand how it is used. Specifically:
- Essential cookies — required to keep you logged in and to secure your session. The Service cannot function without these.
- Analytics cookies — set by our analytics tools to help us understand usage patterns and improve the product. These are not used for advertising.
You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, but doing so may affect your ability to use the Service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell cookie data to advertisers.
6. Session recording
We may record user sessions, including mouse movements, clicks, scrolling behaviour, and page interactions. This helps us identify usability issues and improve the tipping and leaderboard flows.
Session recording data is stored and processed by our analytics providers in accordance with their privacy policies. You can limit or opt out of session recording by adjusting your browser settings, disabling JavaScript, or using a privacy extension that blocks analytics scripts.
7. Data retention
We retain your account information and predictions for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the Service. After the competition concludes, we may retain anonymised leaderboard and prediction data for our records.
If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records or where retention is necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
Email addresses held on our mailing list or shared with third-party partners will be removed upon request (see Section 8).
